Music Program Lincrest Elementary has an active music program
We believe very strongly in integrating music and other fine arts into our classrooms. Classes are given music instruction by gifted teachers. Each class holds at least one performance each year in front of community members. The performances are always outstanding!
Band and Strings Instruction
Students are able to receive instruction in stringed instruments as well as be a part of the school band beginning in the fourth grade. Again, we are fortunate to have two outstanding teachers for these programs! Both the school band and strings orchestra hold several performances each year in front of both parents and community members. These performances are outstanding as well!

We offer classroom music instruction to first, second, and third grades. In first and second grades, students learn basics of music performance and learn to read the music language. In third grade, students learn to play the recorder, which teaches skills needed to join strings or band study in fourth grade.
